David M. Buddingh is a business lawyer with experience in civil and commercial litigation, probate, real estate, formation and dissolution of businesses and estate planning.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUD

A longtime Naperville resident and graduate of Naperville Central High School, David attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies in political science. While attending college, he wanted to find a career where he could make a difference in people's lives. After much thought, he decided to become an attorney. He returned to his local roots to study law at DePaul University in Chicago . While working his way through law school, David first clerked for two years with a family law practice. He then clerked for The Gierach Law Firm during his last year of law school, where he found he enjoyed the firm's specialties of business and commercial law. By the time he began as a full-time associate in 2006 with The Gierach Law Firm, he already had three years of experience in the legal field.

David is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. He is licensed to practice before the Illinois circuit courts, Illinois Appellate Court, The United States District for the Northern District of Illinois.

David is a frequent legal and financial columnist appearing in both the Naperville Sun and the Beacon News newspapers.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES

David is a member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and also belongs to the Young Professionals of Naperville. He has served on the Naperville United Way Community Impact committee.
